I have an off-white carpet (not by choice, it was there when we moved in!) and I will say there was no adverse affects on the color where I sprayed. Which of course is stained yellow anyhow from the pee.

I'd gladly have a bleached look instead! I use peroxide to bleach the small areas on white clothes that have writing or other color on them, so I know peroxide will whiten some fabrics. A test in a hidden area is a good idea. White vinegar is a great odor eliminator. Used straight from the bottle or diluted, it will help a lot to neutralize any pet odors in fabrics, the vinegar smell fades pretty fast (half an hour or so).

Has anybody tried Nature's Miracle? It's available at most pet stores. It's an enzyme based odor and stain killer that even works on OLD pet stains.
